Breaking Barriers: ASA Foundation’s E-STEM Training Empowers Disability-Inclusive Education

11 February 2025

On February 1-2, 2025, ASA Foundation successfully conducted the E-STEM for Disabilities Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop in Jakarta.

We trained 50 STEM teachers from disability schools across Jakarta - 33 female and 17 male educators, including blind and deaf participants - promoting disability inclusion, gender equality, and women’s empowerment.

These incredible teachers will now bring E-STEM education to their schools, delivering weekly training sessions to their groups of male and female students with disabilities! ASA Foundation will continue providing mentoring and M&E support to ensure lasting impact with refresher workshops planned for June 2025.

Together, we are breaking barriers and creating a more inclusive future through the power of education, innovation, and sustainability!

A massive thank you to NAAEE and Pratt & Whitney for partnering with us to make this possible!
