Moving Together. Growing Together.

6 August 2026

On 6 August 2026, MoveNow Unity in Motion brought together 87 students from SLB Pembina, including visually impaired children, 36 teachers, 40 volunteers from Allianz and FC Bayern, and the ASA Foundation team for a day of movement, learning, and joy.

The day began with a student performance, giving young people a space to share their talent and build confidence. Through Goalball and Financial Literacy activities, students developed teamwork, communication, concentration, and everyday life skills — all through play.

For students with visual impairments, the activities also created opportunities to discover new skills and build confidence. Through Financial Literacy, they learned to recognise different types of money through texture and markings, while Goalball introduced them to a sport where they could explore and develop their potential.

“Seeing their joy in discovering something new reminds us that every child deserves the chance to grow and become independent.”
— Allianz Volunteer

Agus Budianto from SLB Pembina shared how the activities can help students build practical skills and explore their potential:

“They learned about money and how to use it, while Goalball gave them a chance to explore their potential in sports.”
— Agus Budianto, SLB Pembina

For parents, building confidence and courage is also an important part of supporting children with disabilities. Ibu Lia, mother of Muhammad Nursabil, a Grade 7C student with low vision, shared:

“As parents, we need to help our children build confidence, be brave, and feel comfortable in their daily lives.”
— Ibu Lia, Parent of Muhammad Nursabil

The energy continued with Berni, FC Bayern’s mascot, joining the students and making the day even more memorable.

Together with Allianz Peduli and FC Bayern, we believe inclusion means creating opportunities for every young person to move, learn, participate, and belong.

Because when everyone gets the chance to take part, everyone has the chance to thrive.
