Allianz MoveNow Unity in Motion Launches in Indonesia, Hosted by ASA Foundation in Jakarta
The Allianz Indonesia MoveNow Unity in Motion program has officially launched in Indonesia, following ASA Foundation’s successful global proposal to host the initiative in Jakarta, marking an important milestone for inclusive education and sport-based learning in the country.
The launch workshop was delivered at SLBN 12 Jakarta, engaging 50 teachers, including 27 female educators (therefore 54% female participation), 4 blind teachers, and 1 deaf teacher. The sessions focused on inclusive, practical, and sport-based approaches that strengthen teaching capacity and improve life skills, financial literacy and climate change learning environments for children with disabilities.
The workshop was further strengthened by the participation of 2 Allianz staff volunteers, whose on-the-ground engagement with teachers demonstrated Allianz’s commitment to employee volunteering and community-based impact.
As part of the next phase of the program, monthly monitoring, evaluation, and mentoring school visits will now be conducted, with Allianz staff volunteers joining ASAF to work directly with teachers and students with disabilities. These visits will focus on ongoing teacher support, classroom practice, and sustained impact at the school level.
We are proud to partner with Allianz to bring MoveNow to Indonesia under the tag name Unity in Motion and look forward to sharing more updates as the program progresses across Jakarta.
