ASA Foundation facilitated the Standard Chartered Bank x Decathlon Foundation Volunteer Day at SLBN 3 Jakarta, bringing together corporate volunteers, students with disabilities, educators, and community partners for a meaningful experience rooted in inclusion and togetherness.

The initiative engaged 10 Standard Chartered Bank volunteers, 20 students with disabilities, 5 teachers, and 2 Decathlon staff members, creating a shared space for interaction, participation, and community engagement.

The day began with a group exercise session, where students, teachers, and volunteers came together through movement, laughter, and encouragement. Beyond promoting physical activity, the session offered opportunities to connect, build confidence, and experience the joy of participating together.

Volunteers also took part in a school tour and donation activity, gaining a closer understanding of the school environment and the importance of creating supportive spaces for children with disabilities. The day concluded with a group photo, capturing the spirit of collaboration and shared experiences.

The impact of volunteering goes beyond the activities themselves. It lies in the connections we build, the understanding we develop, and the opportunities we create for everyone to feel included and valued.
