PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMMAN) & ASA Foundation recently inaugurated a 6-day Professional Football Development Training of Trainer (ToT) program in West Sumbawa, Indonesia. This initiative was conducted under the umbrella program of #Sports4Development, with the training activities wrapped around Life Skills, Health & Safety education.
In conjunction with the Professional Football Scouts Association (PSFA) in the United Kingdom (UK), the project is a sustainable program aimed at building the capacity of:
- 31 local football club coaches
- 27 referees
- 16 West Sumbawa Football Association officials
The beneficiaries shall organize the new professional football league of West Sumbawa, dubbed the Liga Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat or #LigaKSB.
This new league will be launched on the 4th of February and will be participated by over 700 local players. We are also planning to roll out a youth league for boys and girls starting May.
ASA Foundation, which brought over professional coaches from the UK, Spain, and Jakarta to lead the training activities, will conduct follow-up ToT refresher training every three months to ensure the beneficiaries are effectively running the league program and to measure the impact regularly.
Stay tuned for the Liga KSB!
